The Vision Of JOBS Radio

Founded by Mike Taylor from Web Based Recruitment, the vision of JOBS Radio is to combine the growing trends of live streaming, mobile, radio and music to provide the best quality job search advice for job seekers in the UK, anytime, anywhere.

“What we are doing is bringing information about job search and job vacancies to life via Internet Radio which according to RAJAR (Radio Joint Audience Research) is becoming increasing popular in the UK, where 41% of 15-24 year olds listen to radio via a mobile device per month and 26% of adults listen to radio via a mobile phone or tablet per month” said Mike Taylor.

“Job hunting can be a lonely and demoralising experience and that’s why we will also be playing a variety of music to help job seekers feel upbeat and motivated during their job search activities!”

JOBS Radio To Launch 1st February 2016

JOBS Radio will officially launch on the 1st February 2016 offering job seekers a new way to access job search advice and information about job vacancies.

As the UK’s first Job Related Internet Radio Station job seekers will be able to listen to interviews with Industry Experts and Authors as well as Featured Shows with Employers and Recruitment Agencies.

Changing Online Habits

“JOBS Radio is a response to changing online habits. For example, according to RAJAR (Radio Joint Audience Research) 41% of 15-24 year olds listen to radio via a mobile device per month and 26% of adults listen to radio via mobile phones or tablets per month in the UK” said Mike Taylor, Founder of JOBS Radio.

“With JOBS Radio we have combined the growing trend of using the Internet to listen to radio and incorporated Job Search Advice, Expert Interviews and Featured Shows with Recruiters.

Looking for job search information and advice on the Internet can become a very time consuming and overwhelming process. It can also be a lonely and demoralising experience. That is why we will also be playing a variety of music to help job seekers feel upbeat and motivated during their job search activities!

Featured Shows

“In today’s competitive market Employers and Recruitment Agencies need to stand out from the crowd to get noticed. JOBS Radio offers a unique platform for Recruiters to have a regular radio show in order increase the reach and visibility of their company and current vacancies.”
