Did you know that 9 out of 10 job seekers are now using their mobile device to search for a job? (Source: Glassdoor).

In response to this trend Adam Butler Consultancy have released a new mobile recruitment app offering a simple way for job seekers to express an interest in suitable jobs.

Known as “Step Ladder App” the app is currently in currently in BETA launch for the North West and London having been developed over the last 6 months.

It is free to use for job seekers and once they have downloaded the app and registered their details they will be able to view matched jobs. They can then literally “swipe left” if the job isn’t of interest and “swipe right” if they would like to express an interest. The employer is then notified of the job seekers interest.

You can download the app for both Apple and Adroid devices from the Step Ladder App website: http://www.stepladderapp.com

During the BETA launch phase the first 100 companies can post their jobs for free at: https://stepladderapp.com/employers/

You can hear more about the Step Ladder App and how to use it by listening to the interview I did with Adam this week:
